Hi - Ian Lynch from WiFi SPARK here.
We have a 24/7 technical helpdesk service that we provide as part of our managed WiFi service. This is a UK based contact centre manned by technically competent employees of WiFi SPARK.
We can extend this service to Trust/CCG IT managers to help with inbound IT helpdesk calls, especially for out of hours or busy periods. We can take calls/emails/chat and log the call for you so your internal customers don't just drop to voicemail. All calls will be answered by a human within 60 seconds. If required, we can also apply tier 1 triage and try to resolve the caller's problem whilst they are on the call. We have an above 80% success rate of doing this for our own services.
Another area we may be able to help with is assisting home workers who are having IT problems. We could go through basic checks with them and try to resolve simple issues with hardware, network connections, etc.
