Great to see you on here.
On Friday 20th March, a WhatsApp Group was set up to capture and disseminate offers of support and help from the private sector to the NHS and healthcare organisations tackling the CV19 pandemic.
It became clear that NHS and healthcare organisations, other public sector and third sector organisations may also be able to share products and provide support as well.
The WhatsApp Group started to invite people who would benefit or know of who would support being offered support and help.
It was soon highlighted that beyond immediate offers of support and help, was the possibility of putting out a call for investments into innovation, co-production and scaling-up that would help us sustain what we achieve through collaboration in these unprecedented times!
There are some great SMEs out there needing money to scale up fast in order to help with the impact of CV19 and keeping people safe at home! These are the particular type of initiatives for which we are reaching out to, and welcoming investors.
We realised that we needed to put some structure to the emerging offers, ideas and activities, and a couple of us set out to do that - working together on two sites that we believe will compliment each other as we look to discuss opportunities, launch and collaborate on projects and promote this collaboration.
We’ll use Covid19support.boards.net to manage initial conversations and ideas; this will enable us to run reports, identify key themes, opportunities and proposed activities, and also to have a central point of ‘membership’.
We’ll use this Slack Site as the working and collaboration site where folk can set up individual initiatives and projects under the themes we’ve set up and take them forward using the variety of tools Slack can integrate with. You can join the Slack site here:

Everyone has an important role to play in this new world now and into the future, and we look forward to working with you in this regard.
Warmest regards,
Nicola, Rachel, James and Steven
~ Stay safe and happy collaborations! ~
